Cambridge Commission for Persons with Disabilities

The Cambridge Commission for Persons with Disabilities works to reduce and eliminate the barriers that people with disabilities experience in our community.

CCPD staff answers questions, provides information & referrals, and gives technical assistance to individuals and families, public agencies, and private organizations. We promote equal opportunity and strive to eliminate discrimination against individuals with all types of disabilities. Closed Captioning

Closed captioning is provided for City Council and Committee meetings. To turn closed captioning on or off:

  1. Click the City’s live streaming link to watch the public meeting:
  2. On the video screen that appears, click the “CC” button in the bottom right of the screen. Select “Off” or “On.”

If you are watching the public meeting from your home, you can also turn on closed captioning through your television.

Public comment for City Council meetings can be provided remotely through Zoom or in person. You need to sign up in order to provide public comment. If you plan to provide public comment without appearing in person, you will need to login to the Zoom meeting.
