The City of Cambridge will be proudly participating in a series of events for Cambridge White Ribbon Day during the week of Feb. 27–March 3.

White Ribbon Day is an international campaign that asks men and boys, in particular, to stand up and speak out against gender-based violence by making a personal and public commitment to promoting equality, respect and non-violence in their relationships and all aspects of their lives.

This year’s activities, which include a “White Out” social media campaign, are designed to increase awareness about gender-based violence and get more men and boys actively engaged in this issue.

Cambridge White Ribbon Day 2017 is hosted by the recently formed men’s group, MENding CamBRIDGE, the Cambridge Public Health Department, and the City’s Domestic and Gender-Based Violence Prevention Initiative.
