Continued from June 19th P&C meeting for Comcast to explore using the manhole rather than from pole # 3 on Wadsworth St, trench 40' in the public way installing 1-4" conduit to the private property line of 60 Wadsworth St.  The following is a corrected petition from Comcast 55 Concord Street, North Reading, MA for the following:  60 Wadsworth St.  Place new vault over existing Comcast conduit on Wadsworth St near pole # 3.  From new vault, trench 50' in the public way installing 1-4" conduit to the private property line of 60 Wadsworth St. This will include the removal and replacement of one sidewalk panel.

New Petition:  Comcast 55 Concord Street, North Reading, MA for the following:  1160 Mass Ave.  Place new 3’x3’ Comcast manhole over existing underground Comcast conduit approximately 250’ east of Bow St.  From new Manhole location trench 12’ in the public way installing 1-3" PVC conduit ending at the rear of 1160 Mass Ave. This includes the removal and replacement of 1 sidewalk panel.

New Petition:  Comcast 55 Concord Street, North Reading, MA for the following:  Monsignor O’Brien Hwy.  Place new 3’x3’ Comcast manhole over existing underground Comcast conduit at the south east corner of Water St. Trench approximately 1,140’ westerly on Monsignor O’Brien Hwy ending at the Somerville line on Monsignor O’Brien Hwy.  Three additional Manhole’s will be installed along the path including 6 lateral trenches to the property lines of 201,215, 225, 239 and 241 Monsignor O’Brien Hwy installing 1-4” PVC to each. See drawing for details. 

New Petition:  Comcast 55 Concord Street, North Reading, MA for the following:  25 Edwin H. Land Blvd.  From existing Manhole in first east bound lane, trench 45ft in public way, extending 32’ in sidewalk towards property line.  Install 1-4” PVC conduit and backfill and restore as required per City of Cambridge Specifications.

New Petition:  Comcast 55 Concord Street, North Reading, MA for the following:  Gore Street, from pole #223 on Gore St., trench approximately 8’ in the public way installing 1-4” conduit to the private property line of 10 Medford St. Somerville.  This will include the removal and replacement of two sidewalk panels.

New Petition:  Siena Engineering Group, Inc.  (on behalf of Teleport Communications Group) 50 Mall Road, Suite 203, Burlington, MA 01803 for the following:  Bent Street – public way, install a 4’x4’x4’ manhole in the southerly sidewalk and six (6), four-inch PVC conduits to the property of 250 Bent Street; a distance of approx. 5-feet.  Sixth Street – public way, replace an existing 4’X4’ manhole with a 12’x6’x7’ manhole and install six (6), four-inch PVC conduits to the property of 250 Bent Street; a distance of approximately 10-feet.  All work shall be completed in accordance with the specifications set forth by the Cambridge Department of Public Works.

New Petition:  Verizon New England, Inc., 125 High Street, Oliver Tower, Floor 5, Boston, MA 02110, for the following:  Water Street for the following:  new 2-4” (PVC) conduit on Water Street extending in northeasterly direction from existing Verizon manhole 26/197A approximately 6 + or  - feet (6 ft.) as shown on the enclosed plan no.  Verizon 1AOK3XP to the private property owned by MBTA.  The proposed conduit will provide connection to new construction at 22 Water Street aka (191R) Monsignor O’Brien Highway.  (See enclosed plan).

New Petition:  Nstar Electrical and Gas Company, 101 Linwood, Somerville, MA for the following:  Brattle Street – At and westerly from MHC702, approximately 80 feet west of Kennedy Road, a distance of approximately 58 feet – conduit.  This is to upgrade the service at 164 Brattle Street.  W.O. #1996267.

New Petition: continue the matter to determine if Nstar can enlarge the current manhole to hold all of the necessary equipment.  If task is not possible, petition will be placed on July 17th P&C hearing. Nstar Electrical and Gas Company, 101 Linwood, Somerville, MA for the following:  Ellery Street – Southerly from MHC862 @ the intersection of Broadway—installing approximately16.5 feet – conduit and installing one (1) concrete manhole (MHC29805).  This work is necessary for system improvement.  W.O. #1971272.

New Petition:  Nstar Electrical and Gas Company, 101 Linwood, Somerville, MA for the following:  Orchard Street – Northwesterly from MHC1199, approximately 4 feet northwest of Beech Street, a distance of approximately 94 feet—conduit.  Beech Street - Southwesterly at the intersection of Orchard Street, a distance of approximately 175 feet of conduit.  This work is to provide electric service to #7 Beech Street.  W.O. #1974483.
