Description

The MBTA will hold a public meeting to discuss early construction elements of the Green Line Extension (GLX) project that will be beginning this fall. Please join us to learn about what is proposed in your neighborhood! 

GLX construction in these areas will be discussed:

Early utility work on the following bridges:

Broadway Bridge (Somerville/Medford – Ball Square)
Medford Street Bridge (Somerville - Gilman Square)
School Street Bridge (Somerville – Gilman Square)

GLX Union Square Branch (Fitchburg Mainline):

Including site work, retaining walls, drainage & utilities.

GLX Medford Branch (New Hampshire Mainline) between the Lechmere and Washington Street Stations:

Including site work, limited viaduct foundations, drainage & utilities.
