Music by Irving Berlin, Jerome Kern, Victor Herbert, and Jule Styne and others in songs drawn from Verdi, Puccini, Donizetti, Rossini, Wagner, and Borodin, the crazes for Madame Butterfly and Salome, plus songs about opera stars Caruso and Galli-Curci. Cast includes Amelia Broome, Jean Danton, Lauren Frick, Brian Minnick, Ethan Sagin, and Benjamin Sears, with JoAnne Dickinson, Emcee, and Bradford Conner and Margaret Ulmer on piano. Pre-concert talk one half-hour before each performance.
