  • Petition continued (2nd time) from October 15, 2015 P&C hearing.  Continued until all conditions are met.  Need a copy of a new plan for the petition.   Nstar Electrical and Gas Company, 101 Linwood, Somerville, MA 02143, for the following: Massachusetts Avenue – Southeast from MHC222 approximately 170 feet northwest of Porter Road a distance of about 400 (+/-) feet – conduit.  Install one (1) manhole – MHC29999.

Porter Road – At and southwesterly from Massachusetts Avenue a distance of about 190 (+/-) feet – conduit.  Install one (1) manhole – MHC30000.  This work is necessary to supply power to the Porter Square Hotel located at 1924 Massachusetts Avenue (W.O. #1999715).

  • New Petition   Massachusetts Institute of Technology, 77 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge, MA 02139, for the following: Vassar Street – At the request of the City, M.I.T. is applying for a Grant of Location to place a new 2-Way, 5” conduit XA ductbank on Vassar Street adjacent to address 125 Vassar Street.

  • New Petition  Crown Castle NG East LLC, 1220 Augusta Drive, Suite 600, Houston, TX 77057, for the following: Third Street – An extension of the existing fiber optic route in new conduit beginning at Verizon manhole 26/312 southerly 1 block along Third Street to the NW corner of Third Street and Monroe Street to an untagged wood pole with installation of equipment on the untagged pole (Node N079).  A portion of the trench will be in common with XO Communications approved petition on the September agenda: “Third Street and Linskey Way.”

  • Petition continued (3rd time) from September 17, 2015 P&C hearing.  New plan was submitted at hearing.  XO Communications, 13865 Sunrise Valley Drive, Herndon, VA 20171, for the following: Plympton Street – Place 1-4” conduit beginning at the existing Verizon Manhole 26/213 located at the intersection of Plympton Street and Mt. Auburn Street, thence running in a northeasterly direction along Plympton Street for approximately 219 feet, crossing Bow Street, to the existing Telephone Pole 4 on the easterly side of Plympton Street onto which a 4” galvanized steel riser will be installed.

  • Petition continued (2nd time) from October 15, 2015 P&C hearing.  Continued in order to obtain license from Verizon.    XO Communications, 13865 Sunrise Valley Drive, Herndon, VA 20171, for the following: Mt. Auburn and Brattle Square – Place 2-4” conduits beginning at the existing Verizon Manhole #26/578 located on Mt. Auburn Street, thence running in a westerly direction along Mt. Auburn Street for approximately 100 feet before curving northward into a proposed manhole in Brattle Square on the north end of the Eliot Street/Mt. Auburn Street intersection, thence running in a northerly direction across Brattle Square for approximately 85 feet into the proposed point of entry in 1 Brattle Square.
