Newport-Roseland Infrastructure Improvements Project Community Meeting

Description

The city’s contractor, P. Gioioso & Sons, is scheduled to begin construction on Roseland St and Newport Rd this fall and winter. We expect construction to begin on Roseland St later this month, followed by Newport Rd in January. The scope of work includes sewer, storm drain and water main replacement, drainage upgrades, reconstructed sidewalks, roadway paving, and a raised intersection at the intersection of Frost St and Roseland St.

Project staff will host a community meeting on November 16 to discuss the details of the project, including schedule, construction impacts and more.
