Description

The Cambridge Symphony Orchestra, Cynthia Woods, Music Director, presents its season-opener at MIT Kresge Auditorium, featuring Mahler's, Symphony No. 5, and Ravel's, Sheherazade song cycle with soloist Indra Thomas.

Concert spotlight partners: Somerville-Cambridge Elder Services and Mystic Valley Elder Services. This concert begins a year-long exploration of 20th-century music, from Gershwin to Russian composers Prokofiev and Shostakovich.
