Description

ROOTS: An Open Mic and Poetry Reading, hosted by Mary Buchinger, Cambridge Poetry Ambassador, and sponsored by the Cambridge Arts Council, will feature poets from Cambridge: Jane Attanucci, Sam Cha, Jean Dany Joachim, Ifeanyi Menkiti, and Marjorie Thomsen; musical guest, Charles Coe on the didgeridoo. The spring-inspired theme, Roots, encompasses roots of all kinds—ethnic, cultural, musical, spiritual, geographic, linguistic, etc. All are welcome to bring roots-related poetry for the Open Mic, starting at 6 p.m., Monday, May 16th
