Old & New Business:

 

1.            Thoughts on pepper spray gun being used by some employees at licensed establishments.

 

 

 

 

2.            Proposal of fee for cordial permit.

 

 

 

 

3.            Matter deferred from 4/19/16: Transfer of Common Victualler All Alcoholic Beverages License to Orange Blossom, Inc. d/b/a East Coast Grill.  Matter was deferred because application was incomplete.  It has been completed.

 

 

 

 

4.            Matter deferred from 4/25/16: Bloomfield Hospitality, LLC’s request to change d/b/a to WuBurger.  Matter was deferred because application was incomplete.  It has since been completed.

 

 

 

 

5.            Massachusetts Water Resource Authority request to make corrections in the description of licenses held at 1 Monsignor O’Brien Highway and 660 Memorial Drive.

 

 

 

 

6.            Discussion on proposed changes to Rules and Regulations of the Cambridge License Commission Relating to Alcoholic Beverages and Entertainment. 

 

 

 

7.            Application of Darren Moore, on behalf of Lee Kennedy Company, Inc., has applied for a special noise variance from Monday, May 2, 2016 through Saturday, May 7, 2016 from 6:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. and Sunday, May 8, 2016 from 9:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. and Monday, May 9, 2016 from 6:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. for steel erection at Harvard Kennedy School at 15 Eliot Street.

 

 

 

MALT & WINE LICENSES WITH OR WITHOUT ENTERTAINMENT:

 

1.            Lesley Serigny, on behalf of Novartis, has applied for a malt and wine license to be exercised at Novartis, 250 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge, on 5/18/16 from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. for a reception. Expected attendance – 150 people.

 

 

 

2.            Vanessa Ferranto, has applied for a malt and wine license to be exercised at Workbar, 45 Prospect Street, Cambridge, on 5/21/16 from 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. for a networking/conference event.  Expected attendance – 100 people.

 

 

 

3.            Kealyn Garner, has applied for a malt and wine license to be exercised at Kresge BBQ pits, Amherst Street, Cambridge, on 5/7/16 from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. for a party. Expected attendance – 150 people.

 

 

 

 

ALL ALCOHLIC BEVERAGES LICENSES WITH OR WITHOUT ENTERTAINMENT:

 

1.            Rick Jarvis, has applied for an all alcohol with entertainment license to provide (Patrons dancing and Performers/entertainers dancing) to be exercised at University Park, Sidney Street, Cambridge, on 6/4/16 from 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. for a fundraiser. Expected attendance – 500 people.

 

 

 

ENTERTAINMENT LICENSES ONLY:

 

1.            Lee Corbett, has applied for an entertainment license to provide  (Patrons dancing, Performers/entertainers dancing, Recorded/live music, Amplification system and Light show) at Killian Court, North Court, McDermott Court, Kresge Oval, Cambridge, on 5/7/16 from 8:30 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. for a MIT 2016 Moving Day, 100 Year celebration. Expected attendance – 5000 people.

 

 

 

2.            MA Chapter – FCAA has applied for an entertainment license to provide (DJ, Live music, Amplification system) to be exercised at Danehy Park, Sherman Street, Cambridge, on 5/21/16 from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

 

 

 

VENDORS

 

1.            Richard Cambriello, has applied to vend at Simoni Arena, 155 Gore Street, Cambridge on 5/14/16, 6/25/16, 7/16/16 and 8/6/16 to sell food.  

2.            Toirm Miller, on behalf of Stoke Pizza, has applied to vend at 1 Rogers Street, Cambridge, from 11:00a.m. to 2:00p.m. on 5/2/16, 5/9/16, 5/16/16, 5/23/16, and 5/30/16 to sell food.
