• ACR: We received $3/ton in December; first time getting paid since 2012.

Committee members are appointed by the City Manager. All meetings are open to the public. Members of the public may speak during the public comment section for up to two minutes. You may also email or mail written comments for inclusion in public comments in lieu of appearing to speak in person. The Committee Chair must first grant permission to non-members who request to speak at the meeting.

December 2016 Waste Characterization Analysis

On two separate days, the City and volunteers sorted trash from 100 Households on two different days in several parts of the City. What we found are the following statistics. For example, about 10-11% of our trash (by weight) is paper or cardboard.
