From December 5-12, 2015, Cambridge residents age 12 and older will be able to vote online or at events all over town to decide how to spend $600,000 of the City's FY17 capital budget on their favorite Participatory Budgeting (PB)projects. Paper ballots will be available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Haitian Creole, Chinese, Amharic, and Arabic.

Participatory budgeting is a democratic process in which community members directly decide how to spend part of a public budget.
