How do you know how you are? Middle schoolers can create high- and low-tech sensors to measure their mental, emotional and physical wellness. We will do this through creative exploration.

This social-emotional awareness program was developed the PLIX (Public Library Innovation Exchange) Program at the MIT Media Lab. The activity centers around building and speculating tools for revealing invisible parts of ourselves: our breath, our heartbeat, and other body rhythms. Here, “tools” means anything from simple electronics sensors to programmed circuits to mechanically activated paper constructions!

Please register in advance! Pizza will be provided.
