Description

Many of the buildings and statues described by ancient writers have not survived, but we can get a glimpse of what they must have looked like through their representations on ancient Greek and Roman coins. This seminar, led by Carmen Arnold-Biucchi, the Damarete Curator of Ancient Coins, will present examples ranging from the Acropolis of Athens to the Lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the Seven Wonders of the World.

Capacity is limited to 15 and registration is recommended. To register, please email am_visitorservices@harvard.edu
