      Seniors, do you have questions about scams, identity theft and telemarketing fraud?

    • National Consumer Protection Week

      The Cambridge Consumer’s Council (CCC) and the Department of Telecommunications and Cable (DTC) staff will be discussing consumer rights, scams targeting seniors, and how to protect yourself against scam artists and tricksters involving identity theft, IRS/Social Security scams, telemarketing fraud, postal and landline telephone and cable services. Event will take place March 6, 2018, 12:30 p.m. at Cambridge Senior Center.

    • Intermediate ESOL

      Main Library, Beech Room, 449 Broadway, Cambridge, MA 02138

      English class for the non-native speaker: this class focuses on speaking. Students will practice public speaking and will work on developing clear speech. For ages 16 and up. On-going. No registration is necessary. Contact: Maria Balestrieri, mbalestrieri@cambridgema.gov

      Main Library, Rey Room, 449 Broadway, Cambridge, MA 02138

      Children ages 3-5 and their caregivers. This program can accomodate 45 people. Tickets are available on a first-come, first served basis on the day of the program. The entire party must be present to receive a ticket. This program starts promptly, and unfortunately we cannot accommodate latecomers. Unclaimed seats will be offered to someone waiting. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
