David P. Maher is sworn in as Mayor of Cambridge

City Councillor David P. Maher was elected Mayor of Cambridge during the City Council meeting of February 22, 2010.  A lifelong resident of Cambridge, Maher was elected to the Cambridge School Committee in 1991. After serving four terms on the School Committee, Maher was elected to the Cambridge City Council in 1999. He was elected Vice Mayor by his colleagues on the Council during his first term.

Henrietta Davis was elected Vice Mayor of Cambridge during the City Council meeting of Feb. 22, 2010. Davis has served on the City Council since 1996.
