Cambridge has been named a recipient of the 2026 Mass Save Impact Awards, recognizing the City’s sustained leadership in energy efficiency, building improvements and reducing energy use across municipal facilities.

America Unfinished Talk, Trick or Treat, Halloween Parties, and More!

The final Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day in 2026 will be on Saturday, November 7, from 9 a.m.- 1 p.m., at 50 Mooney St. This event is for Cambridge residents only.

The opening session will orient Assembly members to their civic role and responsibilities, establish the framework for deliberations, and provide foundational information on public safety, surveillance technologies, privacy, civil liberties, and public trust.

The Halloween season will once again bring a variety of fun and festive events for people across the City of Cambridge. Various City departments will host Halloween-related celebrations and activities from October 28–30. From spooky scavenger hunts and outdoor adventures to library programs and opportunities to meet local firefighters and police officers, there is something for everyone!

New AEDs have been installed in nearly every City of Cambridge athletic field, including locations where soccer, football, baseball, softball, basketball, tennis, and golf are played. In addition to an AED, each cabinet will also contain a Stop-the-Bleed kit.
