Cambridge Receives 2011 Massachusetts ECO Award for Excellence in Commuter Options
The City of Cambridge was recently recognized with a 2011 Massachusetts ECO Award, from MassCommute, MassRIDES and Mass DOT. The ECO Awards recognize Excellence in Commuter Options among employers from across the state.
Cambridge was presented with a Pinnacle award for achieving the highest ranking for its comprehensive commuter benefits programs. To promote sustainable transportation and maintain our community’s high quality of life, Cambridge offers its employees a wide variety of commuter programs, including bicycle parking and facilities, emergency ride home and transit pass programs.
