Pay Real Estate and Personal Property Taxes Online

The City of Cambridge is pleased to offer Online bill payments for Real Estate and Personal Property tax bills as of October 21, 2011 for the upcoming tax season. Property Tax bills are the latest addition to our current selection of payments online. Our secure, easy to use, bill payment program is provided by a third party merchant Govolutions LLC.
Online payment options for Real Estate, Personal Property Tax and Motor Excise Tax bills as of 10/21/11:
● Credit Cards payments through
Visa, Discover or MasterCard, plus a convenience
fee of 2.5% of total payment.
● Debit Card payments through qualifying cards with
Visa or MasterCard logos, plus a flat convenience fee of $3.95.
● Electronic Check (ACH) through your checking account for a flat convenience fee of $2.
Online payments MUST be processed by the close of business on the DUE DATE to be considered ON TIME.
The Office of the Tax Collector does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the City of Cambridge website. The taxpayer is responsible for interest and fees resulting from such unavailability. We recommend that you pay your tax and utility bills early to avoid unnecessary interest and fees.
The convenience fee for online bill payments is assessed by the 3rd party Merchant, Govolutions LLC, for handling, bank processing, transactions fees and delivery of online payment services to residents. Online payment of tax and utility bills is offered as a convenience to you. Mailing your payments for the cost of a stamp or paying them in person at no additional cost is always an available option.
