The City of Cambridge is notifying residents, businesses, and visitors of multiple temporary street closures throughout the weekend due to scheduled community events on June 13 and 14, 2026.
Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan, Cambridge Acting Police Commissioner Pauline Wells and Somerville Chief of Police Shumeane Benford have announced that four individuals have been charged in connection with their alleged participation in an operation to deal illicit narcotics in the Greater Boston area including in the communities of Cambridge and Somerville.
This spring, fifteen Cambridge teens traveled to Atlanta to explore Black history, celebrate Black joy, and discover future opportunities. The trip was part of Cambridge Youth Programs’ out-of-state travel program, which invites recognized leaders in CYP’s teen programs on trips to tour Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).
