The Committee on Finance will conduct public hearings on the City and School Budgets covering the fiscal period July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2013 on the dates indicated below. Further below are links to the FY13 Submitted Budget and FY13 Budget Hearing Schedule.

Monday, April 30 -- FY13 Budget Overview Presentation by City Manager during Regular City Council Meeting.

Wednesday, May 2 -- commencing at 9 a.m.
Wednesay, May 9 --   commencing at 9 a.m.
Wednesday, May 16 -- commencing at 6 p.m. -- School Department Budget
Thursday, May 17 --  commencing at 9 a.m. -- if necessary
Monday, May 21 -- 2012 Budget Adoption during Regular City Council Meeting

These hearings will be held in the Sullivan Chamber, City Hall, broadcast on the Municipal Channel, which can now be found on Channel 22-CityView, and streamed live on the City's Website, www.cambridgema.gov (see right side navigation panel) . The proposed budget includes recommendations from the City Manager concerning capital and operating budgets.

All interested individuals are invited to attend and be heard and/or submit written testimony.  Those wishing to testify may do so either at the beginning or conclusion of each day’s hearings.  Copies of the budget may be viewed at the branch libraries and will be available at  the Budget Office at City Hall on or after April 24, 2012.
