The City of Cambridge is notifying residents, businesses, and visitors of multiple temporary street closures throughout the weekend due to scheduled community events, including the East End House Summer Block Party and the Found Boston Vintage Market.
Beginning the August 10, weather permitting, the City’s contractor, Newport Construction, will be performing roadway milling (grinding) and paving operations to enhance the road conditions on several sections of street around the City.
Information regarding voter registration, voting by mail, voting early in-person, voting on Election Day, and specimen ballots for the September 1, 2026 State Primary.
Come join the Cambridge Police Department and other community partners to celebrate National Night Out at Donnelly Field.
The event is free and open to all.
There will be numerous activities including games, slides, races, an introduction to lacrosse, soccer, volleyball, obstacle course, face painting, dunk tank, food & more.

The Ethiopian Elder Group is creating a welcoming space where older adults who immigrated from Ethiopia can build friendships, access resources, and strengthen their independence in Cambridge.
