An overview of the Cambridge Police Department's calls for service on August 31, 2026

The Cambridge STEAM Initiative, in partnership with the CPS Math Department, invites funding proposals from nonprofit organizations that provide high-quality math enrichment programs for children and youth from early childhood through Grade 12. Proposals are due on Friday, September 11 by 5 p.m.

The Nurturing Fathers Program is a free, 13-week series that creates a space for Cambridge fathers to discuss, reflect and gain tools to help with understanding how to be a nurturing and supportive father, while maintaining their authority and providing consistent guidance and structure.

Beginning the week of September 7, approximately 15,000 randomly selected Cambridge households will receive mailed invitations entitled “Your Voice, Your Cambridge” and have an opportunity to serve on the City’s first-ever Civic Assembly.
