This free event is for Cambridge families with children ages birth to 3rd grade.

The Cambridge Program for Individuals with Special Needs is inviting Cambridge residents of all ages to try out for its Special Olympics basketball teams this November! Tryouts will take place on two Saturdays, November 7 and November 14, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Russell Youth and Community Center, 680 Huron Avenue.

Expect road closures and traffic impacts on Saturday, October 31 and Sunday, November 1 due to the 3rd Annual 5K and 8th Annual Cambridge Half Marathon.

The Community Learning Center's Career Connections Program helps students prepare for job training and new careers. Read how Immaculene, a former accountant from Haiti, gained confidence and professional communication skills.

Soil samples will be collected within Ahern Field and playground on Monday, November 2. The field will be temporarily closed in sections as work progresses.

Lot 2 in Harvard Square will be fully closed for construction from November 2, 2026, through January 30, 2027, while Harvard University completes structural repairs to the garage. The Harvard Square Hotel will also be closed and is expected to reopen in February 2027.
