Louis J. Spezzaferro, 112 West Adams Street, Somerville, was placed under arrest for shoplifting by asportation, 3rd offense, after he stole merchandise from a business on Massachusetts Avenue.

CAMBRIDGE ST
A resident of Somerville called to report a dispute with a cab driver from Somerville. There was a dispute about the fare and when the caller went to exit the cab without paying, the cab driver sped off with his leg hanging out of the cab. After approximately one block, the driver stopped the vehicle and exited the cab. The resident stated that he was not injured and did not require medical attention.

A complaint was filed against a Brookline resident after he was stopped in his motor vehicle initially for not having an inspection sticker. Shortly after officers discovered that this same vehicle was revoked for insurance and that the Brookline resident was operating unlicensed within the commonwealth, the motor vehicle was towed and he was summonsed into court.

An employee of a Bennett Street restaurant states that on 7/8/14 an unknown suspect took her wallet from her bag when she left the bag unattended in the women's employee bathroom. The wallet contained $260 in cash and other person items.

A Loss prevention Officer for a White Street store reports a male was observed placing four bottles of detergent in a backpack he placed in a shopping cartridge and then move to the exit where he put the backpack on his back , took an orange juice from a case then walked out the door without paying. Outside in the parking lot, the suspect was followed by the security officer and was observed to get into the passenger side of a Honda after yelling "Giselle" and whistling.

Jean St. Rile, 19, 9 Walden Square Road, Cambridge, was arrested at the intersection of Cadbury Road and Sherman Street. Rile was arrested for minor in possession of alcohol and possession with intent to distribute marijuana.
