JACKSON ST
A Clifton Street resident was struck by a 2005 Dodge Caravan on Rindge Avenue at Jackson Place while crossing Rindge Avenue. The pedestrian sustained serious, but not life-threatening injuries and was conveyed to a local hospital.

Cambridge Police responded to the area of Prentiss Street on a suspicious package. The Cambridge Police Explosive Ordinance Unit determined that the PVC pipes were part of new construction and all units were cleared without incident.

A resident of Somerville was cut off while riding her bicycle on Cambridge Street by a motor vehicle. She hit the side of the vehicle and went over her handle bars sustaining an injury to her left shoulder area. The operator initially stopped to help, but later parked the vehicle and fled the area.
