Cambridge is a proud member of the Massachusetts SunShot Rooftop Solar Challenge team! Mass Solar: Making it EZ will use its $566,354 grant to pilot a program that takes step-by-step actions in Boston, Cambridge, Harvard, Hatfield and Winchester to cut tape to make it faster, easier, and cheaper for American homes to go solar. The Massachusetts program will develop a model to streamline permit processes, update planning and zoning codes, improve standards for connecting solar power to the electric grid, and increase access to financing.
