Two Year Anniversary

Join Hubway and representatives from the cities of Boston, Brookline, Cambridge, and Somerville as we celebrate the 2 Year Anniversary of the Hubway bike-share system. We’ll discuss the major milestones we’ve achieved, detail plans to expand and improve the service, and take the opportunity to meet with enthusiastic Hubway users. We’ll also unveil a specially designed ‘1 million rides’ bike.

Who: The Hubway Team, including representatives from the City of Boston, the Town of Brookline, the City of Cambridge, the City of Somerville and Alta Bicycle Share.

What: Hubway 2 Year Anniversary Press Event, ‘1 Million Rides’ Bike Presentation, and Member Appreciation Event

When: Tuesday, July 30th, 2013
              Press Event at Hubway station: 10:00 AM
              Member Appreciation Event in Dewey Square: 10:20 AM – 2:00 PM

Where: Hubway station in front of South Station at 10:00 continuing in Dewey Square Plaza, both in downtown Boston. Location map.

About Hubway

Hubway is metro Boston’s largest bike sharing system, providing easy access to more than 1,100 bikes at 113 existing locations in Boston, Brookline, Cambridge, and Somerville with more expansion on the way. Riding is fast, convenient, and fun, and with Hubway, users can reclaim their commute or enjoy a leisurely ride to the area’s favorite restaurants, coffee shops, and parks. One or three day passes and monthly or annual membership are available for purchase online or at Hubway stations. Every ride under thirty minutes is free, with usage fees applying to longer rides.
