What is the Food and Fitness Policy Council?

The Cambridge Food and Fitness Policy Council was established in 2011 to make healthy foods and fitness opportunities available to more residents.

The council, led by the Cambridge Public Health Department, represents a major step forward in creating a comprehensive approach for addressing obesity at the municipal level. It is also an opportunity for city and community partners to join together to achieve common goals—namely reducing diet-related chronic diseases and hunger.
