This is a picture of healthy food in a neighborhood market.

Many neighborhood markets in communities across the United States are increasing visibility and sales by providing healthier food and beverage selections in their neighborhoods.  Based on this opportunity, the Public Health Department, Inspectional Services Department, and Community Development Department for the City of Cambridge are partnering with local store owners to create the Cambridge Healthy Markets Program.  This program will provide local food retailers with the resources necessary to promote access to healthy foods in Cambridge neighborhoods.
