The Community Development Department and the Cambridge Redevelopment Authority are sponsors of the 2013 EcoDistrict Summit, being held in Boston, November 12 through 14.

The EcoDistricts Summit convenes leading municipal policymakers, developers, business leaders, planners, and community leaders – people with decision-making power – to share best practices in sustainable development through the EcoDistrict Framework. Mayor Henrietta Davis and Susanne Rasmussen, Director of Environmental and Transportation Planning, will be speaking on a panel about climate change resilience. Other City staff will attend the conference to continue their work on the Kendall Square EcoDistrict pilot that started at the EcoDistrict Incubator this past spring.
