Cambridge Police to Hold Open House on March 11

The City of Cambridge is currently recruiting applicants to take the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Open Competitive Examination for Police Officers. To help residents prepare, the City will be hosting an Informational Open House on March 11 at the Robert W. Healy Public Safety Facility.

The open house will begin with a tour of the police department at 6:00 p.m., followed by an informational session where prospective applicants can ask questions and learn about policing as a career.

Limited space is available, and those interested in attending are asked to email Personnel@CambridgePolice.org or call 617-349-3374.

The deadline to apply for the police exam is March 18, 2013 and applications will not be accepted after April 1, 2013. Apply online at www.Mass.gov/CivilService.
