A Boston Globe reporter, who saw our tweet and Facebook posting and retweeted it to hundreds of thousands of Boston Globe followers to get them involved in the search, was driving home in the evening on Winthrop Street in West Medford when he saw missing person Richard Aylward sitting on the sidewalk near Temple Shalom, wearing a red jacket and baseball cap. The reporter stopped and called police, who arrived quickly. A local resident who was nearby also assisted.

Big thanks to this reporter for his help and quick thinking!
