ALERT: Cambridge Police Investigate Shooting on Harvard St

At approximately 4:35 a.m., Cambridge Police received reports of gunshots in the area of Harvard and Cherry Street.

Upon arrival, officers located spent shell casings at the scene.  In addition, a report was received from Boston Police that a male victim arrived at Boston Medical Center seeking treatment for gunshot injuries which are considered to be non-life-threatening.

Detectives are on scene at both locations processing the crime scenes.

Anyone with information is asked to please contact the Cambridge Police Department at 617-349-3300.
