On Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013, 3:35pm, the RP/manager of a business on  JFK St. reported a male grabbed an undetermined amount of men’s clothing, possibly jeans, then set off the alarm detectors after running out of the store without paying for them. The suspect fled onto Brattle St.

On Wednesday, October 2, 2013, at approximately 1637 hours, officers responded to the area of Alewife Parkway for a report of a disturbance. It was determined that during an argument over the use of a cell phone, a male struck the victim with a small wooden bat. The male suspect was summonsed for A&B with a dangerous weapon.

On 10/2/13 at approximately 9:20 p.m. Tammy Commesso, 34, of 105 Bunker Hill Street in Charlestown was placed under arrest for Shoplifting after she was observed by loss prevention concealing clothing items in a bag and then attempting to leave the store without purchasing them. Commesso was found to also be in possession of between $250 and $300 worth of merchandise belonging to another store which she did not pay for.
