On November 8, 2013 at approximately 5:04 AM, Cambridge Police units responded to an alarm call from a department store in Harvard Square. Upon arrival, the front door glass panel was shattered and an interior door was slightly open. A thorough search of the building was conducted and no suspects were able to be located. After further investigation, it was determined that a cement block was used to damage the front door. At this moment, approximately $2,300.00 worth of merchandise was removed from the establishment. Investigation is ongoing.

On November 8, 2013 Cambridge Police units responded to Brattle Square, Cambridge for an accident involving a bicyclist and a motor vehicle. After interviewing the bicyclist, it was determined that the bicyclist struck the motor vehicle from the rear, causing him to fall. The bicyclist was transported to the Hospital with a possible dislocated shoulder.

The reporting person stated an unknown suspect entered his residence and began scavenging thru his personal items before getting into a brief struggle with the reporting person then fleeing.

RP states that she left the carriage upstairs in the vestibule which is street level and then walked downstairs into the store with her daughter. When she returned the carriage was missing.

On 11/11/2013 at 4:27 PM Jaaron MCKINNEY, 20, of 56 Berkshire St in Cambridge was arrested and charged with Larceny from a Person. A victim reported that a tall, black male, wearing a denim jacket stole her phone and fled on Broadway out of Kendall Sq. MCKINNEY was stopped a few blocks from the hotel fitting the description given by the witness. MCKINNEY had the victim's cellphone on him. MCKINNEY was placed under arrest.
