On the above date and time, CPD units responded to a Brookline St. business for a possible break in progress. On arrival, the front glass door of the business was shattered and entry was gained. It is unknown if anything was stolen.

A Washington Ave resident reports an unknown person contacted her by email to purchase a painting valued at $1500 on 11/09/13. The buyer tried to arrange for the seller to pay for shipping on out of her pocket, stating he would cover it in a check. The seller believes this is a scam.

On 11/12/13 an unknown female walked into Brattle St. and stole $90.84 worth of merchandise from the store. The merchandise was recovered when the store employee followed the woman out of the store, confronted her, and retrieved the merchandise from the SP's bag.

The victim indicates that this is the third time this has happened over the last 2 months; however the past incidents have gone unreported.

On Nov 12th, 2013 Cambridge Police arrested Michael Boutin, 28, of 43 Burnham St in Belmont. Boutin was charged with two counts of Possession with intent to distribute Class C, One count Possession with intent to distribute Class E, Two counts A&B on a Police Officer, Resisting Arrest & Carrying a Dangerous Weapon while committing a breach of the peace.
