WARRANT ARREST REPORT

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
Cambridge Police officers noticed a white male standing at the curb of Mass. Ave, apparently having difficulty standing. They approached the male, Brett Kelly, 27, 292 Belgrade Avenue, Roslindale. A check of Kelly's info with ECC revealed that Kelly had a default warrant out of Somerville District Court. Kelly was arrested and transported to the station without incident.

SECOND ST
A juvenile male was placed under arrest after he was observed with a second male stealing a moped. Both males fled the location of the larceny on the moped. They drove recklessly through a red light and failed to stop for police when requested. The juvenile was apprehended after he was observed hiding in the bushes next to the building where they dropped the moped and attempted to escape apprehension of foot. The second suspect was chased but was able to avoid apprehension. The suspect was identified by a witness after he was stopped by police.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
Ralph Garner, 50, 308 Boston Avenue, Medford, was arrested and charged with unarmed robbery after a purse-snatching incident that occurred at Massachusetts Avenue and Russell Street. Garner was found in a nearby building that the victim saw him enter. He fit the description given to responding officers and had the victim’s stolen purse in his possession.  Garner had fled into a stairwell the instant he saw officers on the first floor. Garner ignored repeated orders to stop and get on the ground. He resisted attempts to subdue him and was subsequently taken to the ground and handcuffed.
