A resident of Holliston, MA was issued a summons for failure to stop (red light), Operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and Operating an unregistered motor vehicle. He was observed driving through the red light at Vassar Street at Mass Ave. (public way). After a motor vehicle stop, a query revealed that the registration to the vehicle was revoked for lack of insurance. The vehicle was towed and the driver was issued a summons on scene.

A Cambridge resident reports that overnight while his vehicle was parked on Putnam Avenue and Allston Street, an unknown person (s) smashed the passenger’s side window to gain entry into his vehicle. The victim reports that his wallet including credit cards, approximately $60 cash and driver's license were stolen from his motor vehicle. As a result of this incident, the victim also reports fraudulent credit card activity.

CAMBRIDGESIDE PL
Cambridge Police responded to the area of Cambridge Street and First Street on a report of a past robbery. After a brief investigation, Jose Ruiz, 35, 240 Albany Street, Cambridge, was arrested on the charge of Armed Robbery from a retail store at Cambridgeside Place. Ruiz was arrested after loss prevention personnel alerted police that he had concealed two blue tooth speakers in a bag and left the store. Outside of the store, Ruiz threatened the loss prevention personnel with a hypodermic needle in an effort to evade detention in furtherance of the robbery. MA State Police assisted in the arrest. Ruiz was further charged with giving a false name after arrest.

ALEWIFE BROOK PKWY
Daniel Young, 30, 9 Trenton Terrace, Lynn, and Pierre Guay, 25, 8 Farnham Street, Roxbury, were arrested on Woodstock Street in Somerville as a result of an incident occurring in Cambridge. Detectives observed Young and Guay exhibiting suspicious behavior while walking through a North Cambridge neighborhood. Young and Guay were further observed entering a gated backyard to a residence on Alewife Brook Parkway and exiting on two bicycles. Further investigation revealed these bicycles to be stolen from the enclosed porch of that residence. The two bicycles were valued at over $250. A search of Young's backpack produced two screwdrivers and gloves. Young additionally had two active default warrants for his arrest. Daniel Young was charged with Larceny over $250 and Possession of Burglarious Tools and two default warrants. Pierre Guay was charged with Larceny over $250 and Possession of Burglarious Tools.

John Bryan, 30, 444 Harrison Avenue, Boston, was arrested on a single charge of (266/30/B) Larceny over $250 as well as an outstanding default warrant issued by Quincy District Court for (266/30A/C) Shoplifting by Asportation. Sean Canniff, 32, 45 Cedar Road, Marshfield, was arrested for a single charge of (266/30/B) Larceny over $250. While, Michael Moore, 32, 540 Columbia Road, Dorchester, was also charged with (266/30/B) Larceny over $250 as well as a straight warrant issued by South Boston Municipal Court for (94C/34/E) Possession of Class C Drug. The three were observed acting together to select and conceal electronic and clothing articles valued at $291.07 by Loss Prevention employees of a retail store at Cambridgeside Place and exiting the store after making no attempt to pay for the merchandise. All three individuals were subsequently arrested having acted together to accomplish the crime.

Yong Mei Chen Perl, 44, 15 Briarwood Lane, Burlington, MA, was arrested for Larceny Over $250 at CambridgeSide Place. Perl walked out of a retail store in possession of $307 worth of clothing, without paying for the merchandise.

The victim reported that the female suspect offered to hold the door for her as she entered a retail establishment in Central Square. CAMBRIDGE ST
Cambridge Police responded to the intersection of Leonard Street at Cambridge for a motor vehicle accident with personal injury. An investigation revealed that a Cambridge resident attempted to cross Cambridge Street and was struck by a motor vehicle. At this time Pro Ambulance responded and transported him to a local hospital to evaluate his injuries.
