An unknown black female suspect used a stolen credit card at a gas station on Monsignor O'Brien Hwy. The clerk asked for an I.D. and the suspect fled in her motor vehicle.

Phoebe Clemens, 58, homeless, was placed under arrest on an outstanding warrant. The warrant was issued on 8/18/2014 out of Boston District Court for Assault and Battery.

GREEN ST
A pedestrian was struck by a motor vehicle on Green Street near Western Avenue while he was walking on the sidewalk. The motor vehicle was backing up, and the operator did not see the pedestrian. Pro Ems responded and cleared the pedestrian, who complained of an elbow injury. There was no damage to the vehicle.

The Property Manager for a housing complex reports that for several days now an unknown suspect has been throwing a full watermelon, causing it to completely burst, at the entry door to Harvard St. This is a multi-unit building and its unknown if a particular resident is being targeted.

RINDGE AVE
Cambridge Police were dispatched to Rindge Ave on a reported Flim/Flam. The caller stated the victim owed taxes and that an arrest warrant would be issued for her arrest unless she sent money to them. The caller wanted the victim to go to a local pharmacy and once there she would call him back for further instructions. Officers informed the victim that the IRS doesn't call people up, they would use mail with a verifiable address.
