Cambridge Police were dispatched to the area of the Lechmere T Station on the report that a loss prevention officer was attempting to stop a shoplifter. The suspect made her way into Boston and the Boston Police were notified and responded, however the suspect could not be located.

Cambridge Police responded back to the original location and spoke with the loss prevention officer, who informed officers that the aforementioned suspect did threaten her with bodily harm. Another person, whose was initially with the suspect, was detained, identified and escorted from the property by loss prevention.

RIVER ST
A River St woman reports that while she was in her mother’s boyfriend's car parking on Auburn Street at the corner of River Street, she was approached by a black male on a bicycle who appeared to be acting crazy. She stated this male made statements that he wanted to "kill people tonight” and that he wouldn't kill her “if she gave him her money." The suspect fled on the bicycle toward Central Square. He did not receive any money. A Somerville resident was later summonsed for this incident after being detained on an unrelated matter.
