A resident of Tremont Street reported that an unknown person entered her motor vehicle sometime between 5 p.m. on 9/23 and 8:25 a.m. on 9/24 while it was parked outside of her house. The suspect took a few dollars in change, an iPhone charging cable and keys to her apartment.

Saeed Muhammad, 55, 250 Park Street, Dorchester, was arrested for larceny over $250. Muhammad was arrested as the result of a threshold inquiry that was conducted outside a retail store located at Alewife Brook Parkway. During the investigation, Muhammad was found to be in possession of over $250 of stolen store merchandise.

Young Sun Suk, 41, 140 Jackson Street, Methuen, was operating on Oxford Street when she passed a school bus with flashing lights loading and unloading children. Moments later, through a license status check, it was revealed that she had a suspended Massachusetts driver's license. In addition, it was revealed that Suk had a warrant for her arrest issued by Lawrence District Court.

The Cambridge Police Hackney Unit received a complaint from a taxi cab customer as a result of the taxi cab driver not activating the meter during the ride. The customer stated that he had to pay the driver $20 from the Galleria Mall to Star Market in Somerville. He felt that he paid too much.

WARRANT ARREST REPORT

GREEN ST
Steven Ward, 59, homeless, was arrested for larceny under $250, an active felony default warrant for his arrest, and failure to appear after recognizance on a felony. Ward was observed by a witness, taking a package off of the front porch of a Green Street residence. Ward then put the package in a suitcase he was carrying and left the area. Ward was stopped by police, volunteered to open his bag, and had an unopened package in his suitcase that did not belong to him. A criminal background check of Ward also revealed that he has an active felony default warrant for his arrest. He was subsequently charged with the warrant and failure to appear after recognizance for a felony.

Cambridge Police arrested Joshua Steinman, 29, 17 Conifer Drive, Walpole, without incident on a default warrant for four counts of Larceny Over $250. The warrants originated from Quincy District Court. He was transported by the wagon and booked in the usual manner.

Cambridge Police responded to Sidney Street on a report of an incident type package. Upon arrival, it was determined that the suspect package was a letter sent to the supervisor of the company from another company that they do business with. The receiver of the letter stated that it looked suspicious because the writing on the letter was written very poorly and the supervisor of the company works in a different location. Officers inspected and then opened the letter and found no issues. All units cleared the scene.

Cambridge Police responded for a motor vehicle accident involving a bicyclist and a motor vehicle. No injuries were reported and the cyclist was cleared medically by paramedics. Information amongst the parties was exchanged and advised.

Lawrence Bogarty, 37, 35 Wales Street, Dorchester, was arrested after police observed him riding a motorcycle with no helmet through a red light on Massachusetts Ave and Douglass Street. After Bogarty was pulled over, it was discovered that he was unlicensed, unregistered and uninsured.
