Suspect Arrested by Cambridge Police Following Stabbing in Harvard Square

Officers with the Cambridge Police Department made an arrest this weekend after a Medford resident was stabbed twice in the leg following an altercation. 

Mariel Teves, 24, 1123 Revere Beach Parkway, Revere, was arrested for Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon early Saturday morning after she had stabbed her boyfriend in the leg. Cambridge Police located the victim lying and bleeding at the Old Burial Ground cemetery, where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries and transported to a local hospital.

Teves was arraigned this morning in Cambridge District Court and her bail was set for $5,000.
