Cambridge, Mass., September 17, 2014 – The Cambridge Police Department, with assistance from the Boston Police Department and U.S. Marshals, have announced the arrest of two men responsible for the August 19th armed robbery of a Harvard employee. After a thorough investigation, Radeat Abate, 21, 250 Cambridge Street, Boston, and Daishaun Lawrence, 22, homeless, were both arrested last week on warrants resulting from the armed robbery.  Abate was arraigned and is being held on $10,000 bail. Lawrence is awaiting arraignment.

The investigation revealed that the victim was robbed by two males as he walked with them on Church Street at approximately 2:48 a.m. on Tuesday, August 19, 2014. He reported that while walking with the two men (Abate and Lawrence) he had just met, one of them threw him against a wall while the other male held what the victim believed to be a gun against his head. His wallet and other personal belongings were removed.
