A Cambridge resident came into the police station to report a person using his cab on 10/14/14 and attempting to pay with counterfeit bills. The bills were turned into evidence.

CAMBRIDGE ST
Cambridge Police, along with Cambridge Fire, responded to the intersection at Cambridge Street and Fayette Street for a two-car motor vehicle accident when one operator entered the intersection and the other operator was not able to stop on time thus colliding with each other. No injuries were reported on-scene. Both vehicles were damaged, but were able to be driven away.

Cambridge Police responded to a motor vehicle accident with injuries at the intersection of Columbia Street and Hampshire Street. Upon arrival, officers spoke with both parties involved who both stated that there was no contact made between each other and that one of the parties insisted that he just fell off of his motor scooter when he attempted to come to a quick stop.

Cambridge Police responded to Newtowne Court for a call for an individual with a gun. Upon arrival, all suspects on scene were searched for a possible firearm.
No firearm was located on any of the suspects at the scene. A search of the immediate area for a possible firearm was also conducted, which also turned up no findings.

When Loss Prevention attempted to apprehend the suspect, the suspect assaulted the loss prevention officer and fled on foot towards Boston.

An Easthampton, MA resident reported that her wallet was stolen while she was dining at a Harvard Square restaurant. This incident was recorded on the establishment's video surveillance system. From the video footage, the suspect was observed removing the victim's wallet from her purse, placing it into his own bag and then leaving the establishment.

GARDEN ST
A Cambridge resident was issued a criminal complaint for Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended License and Non-transparent Window-Tint. Officers observed the motorist on a public way on Garden Street and committed a motor vehicle infraction. A motor vehicle stop was conducted on the motor vehicle, and a subsequent inquiry of the driver revealed a suspended driver’s license. The motor vehicle operated had its windows tinted beyond legal standards.
