An employee of an Institute reported a suspicious email to the police. The email appeared to be an attempt to gain access to the computer system and possibly obtain funds through fraud. No money was lost at this time.

WHITE ST
An employee of a Cambridge establishment came into the police station to report a past larceny in which a B/M suspect entered the establishment on White Street and stole in excess of $700 worth of cosmetics. The loss prevention team of the establishment later identified the male on video and reported the theft to Cambridge Police.

Cambridge Police and Professional Ambulance responded to Mass Ave, for a report of a crash involving two (2) bicycles. One (1) of the involved parties was transported to a local Hospital for further treatment.

Cambridge Police, Cambridge Fire, and Professional Ambulance responded to the intersection of Columbia Street and Harvard Street, for a report of a bicyclist struck by a motor vehicle. The bicyclist was later transported to a local Hospital by Professional Ambulance for further treatment.

Joel Rosario, 31, of 78 West Walnut Park Roxbury MA, was arrested for larceny over $250 after he was observed by loss prevention at a retail store placing merchandise into a bag. Upon being arrested and searched more merchandise was found on Mr. Rosario bringing the total value of the merchandise to $312.94. As a result of the investigation two outstanding warrants were discovered for Mr. Rosario’s arrest.
