A store manager reports that two unidentified men entered their store on 11/7 and 11/17 where they created a diversion to distract store employees and stole (1) Gray Canada Goose jacket with fur trimmed hood on each of the aforementioned days. The two suspects casually left the store within seconds of each other.

Cambridge Police responded to a Franklin Street address to document a hit and run accident report. Upon arrival, officers spoke to the reporting person who stated he parked his motor vehicle inside of a parking lot on 11/17/2015 between 9:00 a.m. and 5 p.m. where his motor vehicle was struck and damaged by another unknown motor vehicle.

Residents of a Prospect Street apartment state that an unknown suspect broke into their shared residence and stole personal items from each of them. They state the break occurred on 11/18/15 and the unknown suspect gained entry by forcing through the front door.

BANKS ST
Cambridge Police responded to the rear of a Banks Street address for a found baby in a baby carriage at 2:25 p.m. Upon arrival, officers spoke to the reporting person who stated he discovered an infant baby abandoned inside of a baby carriage at 2:05 p.m. while in the rear of a Banks Street address. After being dispatched to the call for service, officers immediately made their way to the Banks Street address. While assessing the abandoned baby for life and its well-being, the father of the baby appeared in the first floor window of his apartment claiming the baby. After speaking with the father of the baby, the baby was medically evaluated by Professional Ambulance personnel, where then the infant baby was eventually transported via Professional Ambulance to a local city hospital for further medical care.

A Cambridge resident reports a 2012 Ford Fusion was damaged while parked on Beech Street. The rear window of the motor vehicle was smashed, and its frame was gouged out and bent. Entry into the motor vehicle was not gained.

CAMBRIDGESIDE PL
Paul Michaud, 28, 51 Dartmouth Street in Watertown, was placed under arrest for two warrants and larceny over $250 from a Cambridge business. Michaud was observed by loss prevention concealing $260 worth of merchandise in a bag and leaving the store without making any attempt to pay for the goods. Upon apprehension, Michaud was found to have the stolen property on his person and also had two active warrants for his arrest.

A Cambridge resident was summonsed for uttering two counterfeit checks at a Cambridge financial institution with the intent of defrauding the institution in excess of $250.00. The suspect’s actions caused the institution to suffer a loss of $545.38.

A Cambridge resident reported that between 9 p.m. on 11/17/15 and 8 a.m. on 11/18/15, an unknown individual stole his bicycle that was locked to a city of Cambridge bike rack. The bike is valued at $350.

Cambridge Police units responded to a business for the report of a Malicious Destruction. Joseph Fency, 31, 132 Summer Street in Somerville, was stopped a block away matching the description given by witnesses. Fency was identified by the reporting party during a show-up and was placed under arrest for Malicious Destruction +$250 (c266 s12).
