Cambridge Police responded to North Point Blvd and East Street after a male approached a state police detail officer in the area and reported that the tire on his motor vehicle had just been slashed by a black male who then fled the area wearing a black coat with jeans and a brown hood. State and Cambridge Police were able to deploy a police K9, which tracked the suspect later identified as Nicholas Reddy, 24, 25 Fenwick Street in Somerville, in a MBTA locomotive train engine, which was in a service facility in Somerville. Reddy was subsequently arrested and taken into custody without incident.

A Boston resident reported a breaking and entering to his motor vehicle while parked in the area of Mass. Ave. between 7:45 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on 12/1/2015.
