WILLOW ST

Carlton Buscemi, 26, 22 Wellington Avenue, Somerville, was placed under arrest for Breaking and Entering For Misdemeanor. The victim reported that she heard someone walking around in the house, and nervous for family, she immediately woke up her husband and he went into the front room of the apartment, where they observed Buscemi sleeping on their couch, surrounded by their child's toys. The victims yelled several times at Buscemi, but were unable to wake him until officers arrived.

A Cambridge resident reported that he was alerted by his bank about fraudulent activity on his bank account, after an unknown individual made several unauthorized withdrawals using his bank card information on 11/29.

A Cambridge resident reported that she witnessed a package theft from a Cambridge Street resident. The package and its contents were subsequently recovered when the suspect became aware of the witness and fled the scene.

A Cambridge resident reported that he was swindled into purchasing real estate property. The victim stated that he found a posting online for an apartment, and after he had wired the deposit to the suspect, he found out, in fact, that the property does not exist on the market and the suspect has no connection to it.

Cambridge Police responded to a residence on Erie Street for a report of a Breaking and Entering into a motor vehicle. The victim reported that while he was doing laundry, an unknown person stole his computer laptop from his motor vehicle.

The Cambridge Police Explosive Ordinance unit responded to the area of Sidney Street and Pacific Street for an unattended bag. There were no threats made or any other suspicious behavior surrounding the bag. The K9 unit did a sweep of the area and cleared it, and did not alert to the bag. There was no indication in the bag of its owner and thus it was disposed of properly.

Cambridge Police responded to a residence on Whitney Avenue to take a report of malicious damage to property. The reporting person stated that chunks of brick were missing from the front stairs to the residence.

Cambridge Police responded to a Pine Street residence for a report of a past breaking and entering. The reporting persons stated that on 12/4 an unknown person entered the apartment through the fire escape and stole various personal items.
