A Cambridge resident reported that he was assaulted in Harvard Square. The victim reported that he was randomly attacked by an unknown suspect, who punched and kicked him in the face, and then fled the scene.

Jesse Rosenbloom, 39, 258 Main Street, Charlestown, was placed under arrest on a warrant out of Boston District Court for Assault and Battery, and charged with Carrying a Dangerous Weapon after a search of the offender revealed a double-edged knife.

A Cambridge resident reported that his debit card information was fraudulently used by an unknown person(s) to make purchases out of state totaling to $1,601.09.

BROADWAY

Security personnel for a local property management business reported that on 12/9 an irate customer damaged their automated garage gate arm after he manually lifted it and thus caused approximately $500 in damage.

SULLIVAN RD

Cambridge Police responded to a possible Breaking and Entering at an apartment building on Sullivan Road. The victims were tenants of the unit and reported that the landlord had just kicked in a window and thrown their air conditioner out of its place. The landlord then allegedly kicked in the door to the apartment, ran in and started shouting at the tenants to leave the apartment. This is part of an ongoing dispute between the two parties.

A Cambridge resident was summonsed for Operating a Motor Vehicle With a Revoked License after he was stopped for blocking the bike lane on Massachusetts Avenue.

Cambridge Police responded to a store in a local shopping center for the report of a shoplifting. The reporting store employee told police that two suspects placed merchandise in a bag and left the store without making an attempt to pay.

Andrew Prudhomme Jr., 32, 86 South Main Street, Manchester, NH, was placed under arrest on a warrant out of Somerville District Court for Larceny From a Person and Larcey Over $250, a warrant out of Lynn District Court for Operating an Unregistered Motor Vehicle and Possessing a Class B Drug, and a warrant out of Woburn District Court for a Number Plate Violation and Operating and Unregistered Motor Vehicle.

Magazine Street business owner reported malicious damage of property. The reporting store manager stated that he temporarily closed his shop for a bathroom break and when he returned, he observed the front glass door had spiderwebbed.
